Spending our Xmas break in this guest house was a real treat. The owners and staff were friendly and welcoming, eager to ensure our stay was perfect. We enjoyed the fantastic views and the relaxing atmosphere, sitting by the pool and sipping our drinks while admiring the beautiful gardens. Breakfasts were a highlight, with homemade goodies and fresh fruit on offer. We also appreciated the location, only a short walk from the city centre with great restaurants and wineries nearby. a wonderful experience that we would highly recommend to others.
The lack of air conditioning in the rooms. It was quite hot during our stay, and although the rooms had ceiling fans, it was not enough to cool down the room.

Amazing hotel with spacious and cozy rooms. Beautiful surroundings and jaw-dropping views. Super friendly staff, special thanks to Allan & Yvonne for making our stay enjoyable. Incredibly helpful in planning our unforgettable safari in Kruger National Park. Consistently excellent breakfast with a nice variety of buffet and hot courses. Delicious coffee and delightful luxury of a fire in the bedroom. Attentive but unobtrusive hosts, with an EXCELLENT rescue dog to make us feel at home. Elegant and geared for human comforts, with lovely old Cape Dutch shutters and ceilings. Price may be a shock, but the location and general excellence make it worth it. A warm reception from the wonderful team, catering to all our needs. Spacious bedroom with turtle doves waking us up. Fabulous breakfast in front of a warm fire. Amazing mountain views, peace, and quietness, yet still close to restaurants and shops. Can't forget Cassy the hotel dog. We will definitely be back!

During our romantic escape, we were delighted by the beautiful surroundings and stunning views of the vineyards. It was a perfect location for a peaceful getaway. The accommodation was comfortable, spacious, and clean. We particularly loved the mornings spent enjoying a delicious homemade breakfast on the terrace, accompanied by fresh fruit and honey. sipping on the wine made from the nearby vines while sitting on the patio and admiring the picturesque valley was a memorable experience.
There were a few aspects that were not up to our expectations. the lack of air conditioning was a major drawback, especially during the scorching heat.

I had an amazing stay at a family-run lodge. The location was peaceful with breathtaking mountain views, and yet just a short walk from the city center with all the restaurants and wine train. The breakfast made by the staff was delicious, with homemade jams and juices. The hotel facilities were clean and well-kept, and the staff was warm, accommodating, and knowledgeable. They even let me pick my own flowers from their gardens to make my own flower arrangement for my room!
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The breakfasts were consistently excellent, with a nice variety of buffet and hot courses. The coffee was delicious. The location was also a treat for the eye, with beautiful gardens and vineyards. It was a peaceful and quiet place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We also appreciated the warm hospitality and local advice given by the new managers Roger and Josephine.
One negative aspect was the price of the accommodation, which was a bit shocking. It was quite expensive compared to what we expected.

Great location, close to the town and restaurants. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool and garden to relax. The breakfast was very tasty with fresh produce.
Our room was quite small and outdated compared to the pictures available. The bed was uncomfortable and gave us backache every day.
